Aliza Brugger is a Nebraska-born, Los Angeles–based editor with an MFA in film from Columbia University and a BA in film studies from the University of Nebraska. Their editing work spans narrative film, documentary, commercials, and music videos. Credits include the feature comedy My First Day Selling Crack (dir. Eric Wilhoyt) and the feature documentary Blow Yo Horn: Making Music in a Man’s World. They are also currently editing and producing the documentary A Little Gay on the Prairie. Aliza’s narrative editing work has screened at festivals including Dances With Films, LA International Shorts, Maine International, Overlook, Sidewalk, and Houston WorldFest, where Soma received a Remi Award. They have also edited branded and music-driven work for clients including Moët Hennessy and Upstream Farms, and for artists including Sa-Roc and Møzzie.
