Aliza Brugger is a Nebraska-born, Los Angeles–based editor with an MFA in film from Columbia University and a BA in film studies from the University of Nebraska. Their editing work spans narrative film, documentary, commercials, and music videos. Credits include the feature documentary Blow Yo Horn: Making Music in a Man’s World. They are also currently editing and producing the documentary A Little Gay on the Prairie. Aliza’s narrative editing work has screened at festivals including Dances With Films, LA International Shorts, Maine International, Overlook, Sidewalk, and Houston WorldFest, where Soma received a Remi Award. They have also edited branded and music-driven work for clients including Moët Hennessy and Upstream Farms, and for artists including Sa-Roc and Møzzie.
