When they’re forced to transition from a rural, poor schoolhouse to a public school in Omaha, the close-knit relationship between Jessi Akron and her rambunctious siblings is challenged as they form new identities outside of their dysfunctional, codependent cocoon.

Trashy was a part of the 2023 Columbia University Select Awards program, the pinnacle of recognition in the MFA film program where the pilot won Best Television Comedy.
